Tlell is Where to Eat in Canada
The Haida House at Tllaal is honoured to receive the “Where to Eat in Canada” title for a fifth consecutive year.
The title is a bestselling independent guide to Canadian restaurants from coast to coast. The reporters who grade each restaurant are unable to identify themselves or accept free meals while writing for the book. The restaurant guide does not accept advertisements, nor payments for listings. The book belongs solely for its readers, so guests are able to receive premium cuisine and service from coast to coast. You can find a new edition of “Where to Eat in Canada” every June across Canadian bookstores, or can purchase a copy online via Oberon Press.
The Haida House at Tllaal not only provides world-class meals to guests from around the globe, but is also proud to be Green Tourism Certified. In the summer of 2016 after a series of thorough assessments, the lodge was awarded Silver level certification. Everything was inspected from energy efficacy in the lodge to food sources. This provided valuable insight on how to further reduce our impact on the environment, to keep Haida Gwaii as green as possible for future generations to come.
The Haida House team is dedicated in providing world-class hospitality for guests, and strive to make their trip exceptional. Haida Gwaii is arguably one of the most breathtaking places in the world, and we are proud to share our home and hearth with you.
